How To Survive & Thrive in Corporate (Part 1) - Leadership Laws for People of Color and Women
Having a mentor is important to career growth!
The days of getting a degree and working in one field into retirement are long gone. Recent reports suggest that people now change careers several times throughout their professional lives. Such a shift requires working people to constantly develop new skills and pursue new opportunities.
Having a mentor can help you gain the skills and connections you need to continue on your career journey. Unfortunately as people of color we rarely receive the mentorship we deserve.
In order to succeed in the corporate arena you will need to move past self-doubting behaviors and what may seem like impenetrable barriers. This is an extremely difficult task if you don't have anyone to help guide you. That's why I'm here to help!
My hope is to give you the tools you need to become the best leader that you can possibly come.
