Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) - Know your Rights!
FMLA violations by employers can occur in many forms, whether intentional or unintentional. The two most common examples of FMLA violations by employers are 1) Retaliation 2) Misapplication of the new legislation.
FMLA laws, combined with supplemental federal leave legislation, can be difficult and lead to many lawsuits for employers. This presentation is to educate both employers and employees about their rights regarding FMLA and maternity/paternity leave. Additionally, many states have their own additional leave laws, which is covered in this presentation as well.
